Tom Barroll

Tom and Diane Barroll, the co-owners of RE/MAX First Choice Realty have been full-time residents of San Carlos Sonora Mexico since 2000, after moving from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They are members of the Arizona-Sonora Commission. Tom and Diane are licensed real estate agents in Sonora, Mexico, and have earned the Realtor designation.

Tom spent nearly 20 years in the offshore oil industry working internationally. He is fluent in Spanish and, with his renovation and construction experience, has developed good relationships with local contractors and construction personnel. In addition to taking care of the maintenance and renovation aspects of the business, he is also a member of AMPI and has completed the real estate course required by Sonora.

Diane has many years of operations management experience and 3 degrees, including an MBA. Diane handles office management and real estate listings, real estate showings and marketing for RE/MAX First Choice Realty.

Tom and Diane are actively involved in community service projects in San Carlos that include services such as:

  • Treasury, San Carlos Rescue
  • Former Treasury, Country Club Residents' Association
  • Board Member, Solimar Condominium Residents Association and Marinaterra Residents Association.
  • Participating in the International Ladies Fishing Tournament, the San Carlos Yacht Club and the San Carlos Rescue Fishing Tournament, the International Marlin Tournament and the Labor Day Fishing Invitational Tournament.
